Participants in a dialogue session organized by Riyadh Chamber represented by the Communications and Information Committee ( Via teleconference) last Monday under the title (digital transformation and experiences about business transformation) discussed a number of challenges facing business leaders in the logistical, financial, administrative and marketing fields in light of the Corona crisis, Stressing the importance of searching for innovative business models and creating new changes and mechanisms to develop business with the importance of building flexible plans to meet the challenges of the crisis and take into account the requirements and desires of customers.

Speakers agreed that the Corona pandemic revealed the importance of enterprises relying on the cloud computing to conduct their business and switching to electronic stores, noting the importance of developing the skills and training of workers to be more ready for remote work, calling in this framework to take advantage of all social media platforms to reach the largest number of Customers regarding the importance of listening and interacting with the market to know the challenges , acquire awareness of them and provide appropriate solutions to them in a way that over go market expectations. They also added that the crisis revealed a change in technical awareness in all means of communication and delivery with the expectation of a positive continuity of this awareness after the end of the pandemic, which will lead to the expansion of the use of the concept of digital transformation, while noting the boom that companies faced during the pandemic towards the use of the market for various government platforms and commercial applications which led to a growth in their performance in a short period.

On the best ways to continue the business, they pointed out the importance of prior planning at every stage of the work, setting priorities and developing business in a way that suits the circumstances of the crisis, with the need to develop a short and long-term methodology to confront the changes, deal flexibly with them, create new business models, develop customer relationships, know the market and competitors.

For his part, Chairman of the Committee, Eng. Mansour Al-Obaid, stated that the session comes within the framework of the Chamber’s series of meetings in light of the Corona pandemic. Member of the Committee Eng. Fatima Abdullah, successfully prepared for the session . Qais Al-Eisi, CEO of (VISION), Ansam Abu Al-Jadaiel, Director of Financial Solutions at Cisco, Eng. Ayla Al-Shadwi, Member of the Business Women Council in the Eastern Chamber, and Ustaz Nawwaf Al-Ghamdi, Entrepreneur, addressed the session covering the topics embodied. The meeting was moderated from an in theory platform by Ustaza Hadeel Al-Rabiah, Oracle Ambassador for Startups.
