After being blacklisted last year, the US Department of Commerce is preparing a draft that would allow local companies to work with Chinese Huawei to set standards for cooperation together in building fifth-generation telecommunications technology. Reuters news agency quoted ,according to a knowledgeable person, that the US Department of Commerce is about to approve the draft, after a break between Washington and Beijing regarding fifth-generation technology and some American technology companies stopped dealing with the Chinese company Huawei, the leader in developing the fifth generation systems for smart phones and the Internet, after the Ministry of Commerce included the company in the black list last year. The US Department of Commerce placed the Chinese company Huawei in the “list of prohibited entities” last May due to national security concerns.
